Which plan

White-label vs SaaS Mode: which GoHighLevel plan do you need?

Most guides blur the two. White-labeling is branding; SaaS Mode is automated selling and billing.

Rebilling

How SaaS Mode markup rebilling works

You set a multiplier per service. HighLevel charges the client’s card, and you keep the difference.

How it’s set

  • A multiplier for each service, or one global slider
  • Per sub-account, or in bulk across many
  • Covers phone, email, AI and more

What you need

  • A connected payment provider such as Stripe
  • A card on file for each sub-account
  • Agency Pro for any markup above cost

“Rebilling activates immediately for sub-accounts with a card on file.” Without a card, rebilling starts once the client adds one.

Do the maths

Break-even: when does the extra $200 pay for itself?

Two ways Agency Pro earns back its uplift. These are our worked examples, not HighLevel figures.

Pro uplift$200$497 − $297
Margin at 1.5× on $100 usage$504 such clients cover the uplift
Or SaaS plans3 × $97$291 covers it on its own

Be realistic

What the $497 plan doesn’t buy you

SaaS Mode removes admin work. It doesn’t create a business.

Included in Agency Pro

  • SaaS Mode
  • Automated sub-account creation
  • Rebill phone & email with markup
  • User/agent reporting
  • Advanced API access

Still your job

  • A niche and an offer people want
  • Snapshots, templates and onboarding
  • Customer support and training
  • Marketing to get customers
  • Keeping customers past month three

What Reddit asks

GoHighLevel SaaS and white-label questions from Reddit, answered

These threads rank on Google for SaaS and white-label searches. We answer each one with HighLevel’s own pricing and documentation.

  • “The subscription fee is so high”

This r/gohighlevel thread ranks #2 on Google for “gohighlevel white label pricing” (140/mo).

Fix You don’t need $497 to white-label. Unlimited at $297 includes it; pay for Pro only when markup or automated sign-ups earn back $200/month.

Source: r/gohighlevel: The subscription fee is so high
  • “Is starting a GoHighLevel SaaS still worth it?”

Ranks #2 for “gohighlevel saas” (110/mo).

Fix Only with a niche offer and onboarding that keeps customers. A generic “all-in-one CRM” is hard to sell against cheaper tools.

Source: r/gohighlevel: Is starting a GoHighLevel SaaS still worth it?
  • “My client found out it’s GHL”

A white-label agency’s client discovered the underlying platform.

Fix Branding covers your domain and desktop app, but the standard mobile app is LeadConnector, not your brand. The $497/month branded app closes that gap. Selling outcomes, not secrecy, is the safer model.

Source: r/gohighlevel: Client found out of GHL
  • “What happened to the $497 plan?”

Ranks for “gohighlevel pricing change” searches.

Fix It still exists as Agency Pro at $497/month ($4,970/year), with SaaS Mode included.

Source: r/gohighlevel: What happened to the $497 plan?
  • “Is a GHL SaaS agency legit?”

Users question whether SaaS reselling is a real business or a course pitch.

Fix Reselling software is legitimate; the risk is in the promises. Expect to earn from service and support, with software margin on top.

Source: r/gohighlevel: Is GHL SaaS agency legit?
  • “How is white-labeling working out for you?”

Agencies compare results a few months in.

Fix Track churn and support hours per customer from month one. Those two numbers decide whether white-label pays, more than the plan price does.

Expert take

Should you pay $497 for SaaS Mode?

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode pricing FAQ

How much does GoHighLevel SaaS Mode cost?
SaaS Mode comes with the Agency Pro plan: $497/month, or $4,970/year. It isn’t sold as a separate add-on.
What is GoHighLevel white-label pricing?
White-labeling (your domain, logo and colours on the desktop app) starts on the $297/month Unlimited plan. A branded mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on, and a branded client portal app is $49/month per sub-account.
Can I use SaaS Mode on the $297 plan?
No. SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation and rebilling with markup are Agency Pro features.
Do I need SaaS Mode to white-label GoHighLevel?
No. White-labeling is on Unlimited ($297). SaaS Mode adds automated selling, provisioning and marked-up rebilling on top.
Can I mark up SMS, email and AI usage?
Only on Agency Pro. Unlimited can rebill usage at cost; Pro lets you set a multiplier per service, or one global multiplier, for each sub-account or in bulk.
Can sub-accounts be created automatically after a Stripe payment?
Yes, on Agency Pro. A customer buys one of your SaaS plans and their sub-account is created without manual work. You need a connected payment provider such as Stripe.
Is there a free trial of Agency Pro?
HighLevel’s pricing page shows “Experience it for 14 Days FREE” for Pro. An older HighLevel help article (15 October 2025) says Pro has no free trial, so confirm the offer at sign-up.
How much is Agency Pro billed annually?
$4,970 a year: two months free, a saving of $994 (16.7%).
Is the $497 plan worth it?
Only if the extra $200/month earns more than it costs, through marked-up usage, SaaS subscriptions or time saved on onboarding. If you sell managed services and invoice clients yourself, Unlimited is usually enough.
What happened to the $497 plan?
It’s still there as Agency Pro at $497/month. HighLevel’s own help articles also call it the “$497 SaaS plan”.
Can I resell WordPress hosting and other add-ons?
Yes. HighLevel says most add-ons can be resold with your own markup on Agency Pro, and names WordPress hosting (from $10/site) as an example.
