Basics
What a 400 error means
The server is up and answering; it just can’t accept this particular request.
In your browser
Old cookies or stored site data send a login request the server no longer accepts.
On your network
A VPN or an internet-provider security filter changes or blocks the request.
In an integration
An add-on sends an expired token or a missing or invalid field.
HighLevel’s help centre has no article about the 400 code specifically; these fixes come from its login troubleshooting guide, which covers the same causes.

Developers
400 errors in API add-ons and integrations
Google Sheets add-ons, Zapier-style tools and custom code see 400s when the request or its authorisation is wrong.
- Reconnect the add-on: authorisations expire (OAuth access tokens expire daily and must be refreshed)
- Use API v2: v1 reached end of support on 31 December 2025
- Use a Private Integration token with the right scopes for your own tools
- Send the sub-account (location) ID the endpoint expects
- Read the error body: a 400 response usually names the field it rejected
- A 429 is different: you hit the rate limit, so slow down
